Tonight was Katie's birthday dinner. This ended with me ending up the store lush despite not having anything to drink. Not really sure how THAT happened, but I think it had to do with the fact that I forgot what I ordered, got a martini and a margarita confused, then accidentally tried to go into the men's room in full view of everyone at the table. Well, my permit expires tomorrow, and I forgot to go last week to get it renewed. Turns out that since I haven't taken the test in four years, I get to RETAKE it. It will be cool and unenjoyable, I am sure. My parents also suggested that I look for a satellite office, but I can only find the one downtown. So guess what I'm doing tomorrow! Also on the subject of things I am doing tomorrow: celebrating my birthday @ Bombers on Lark. All of y'all are invited, even though I know most of you can't go. But from 9ish to wheneverish, I will be there, and you all can come too. My mom wants a leather purse for her birthday. I don't particularly know anything about purses. Suggestions on where to start looking? She wouldnt mind some colour to it, but no animal print. | |||

Sudafed never usually keeps me awake, so when I told the nurse lady it didn't it wasn't a lie. But this guaifenex pse she prescribed me to combat my sinus infection has managed to keep me awake far later than it should -- I was wide awake til at least 3 am, and I only went to bed cause my laptop battery died.  awakeescucha: Michael Buble - I've Got the World on a String I only have 8 more days of it, so I think I can deal. I woke up this morning to the worst stomach pain I've had in a long time -- the last time I remember it being this painful was, interestingly, the last time I ate leftover lasagne. It was bad enough for me to need to take my inhaler, because it basically took my breath away. This really pissed me off cause it was 0800 and I only had an hour more of sleeping before I had to get up for work. I'm working 11-4 today, and I'm going to pick up a few essentials after that. Tonight is clean out the fridge night, because it's also trash night. I scrubbed down the counters and made myself sick yesterday with all the cleaning chemicals I used. I need new gloves because of it (I handwash dishes wearing gloves because my hands are very dry). Anyway, that's about the random boring stuff I can think of to update/regale y'all with. OMG TODAY IS MADE OF FAIL. distressedescucha: Rascal Flatts - Love You Out Loud I woke up this morning to a statements clusterfuck, which has hopefully been resolved, but it took me an hour and a half to get caught up and straighten it. Then I stood up to go get a drink and tweaked my neck.For the rest of the day I have had pain radiating from my neck down both arms at alternating times and it's driving me crazy. I took one Aleve earlier but it did NOTHING so I just took two more. I'm really pissed about this because today's my last day off this week and I wanted to clean the house really well. I also wanted to walk to CVS but I can barely cross the apartment, so that's not going to work very well. FUCK FUCK FUCK MCFUCKSTICKS. I'm not bitter, no. It better go away soon, because I have to work 1-6 tomorrow and who KNOWS what I'll be doing. I once had one of these last two fucking weeks. I had to break down and buy those heatcare pad things because it was the only thing that even touched the pain. GRARGH. SO how are all of you? I'm getting my coworkers hooked on Mika, which is fun. At the same time I'm in the midst of planning my trip to NFLD, which is also fun. Involving cookie bribery. I was rereading some of the old commentfests I used to have with Candice and Ash and I really miss those. We should find a time when all three of us are online again and DO THAT.
